Boggy Boon is a family and veteran owned WA state licensed I-502 cannabis farm. We have 24,000 SF of commercial greenhouses which allow us to grow high quality cannabis all year round..
We create a natural bio-diverse environment for natural pest prevention. In vegetative growth we use preventative organic methods such as sulfur. Once our plants flip to flower and start bud production we implement a program using beneficial insects (such as Neoseiulus Cucumeris). No chemical sprays are applied to the buds you are smoking!
We approach growing as a labor of love. We employ over 35 full time employees who are lovingly known as the Squatch Squad. They curate all our flower by hand. We handwater, hand-harvest, hand trim, and hand package all our flower. This hands on approach is how are able to provide the top quality in Washington State.
We grow some of the best genetics in the world including award winning classics, and new favorites. We have received "Top 5 strains to try in Seattle", 3rd place in 4/20 gold Cannabis Cup. Additionally we have been featured in Leafly, Marijuana Venture Magazine, and on the cover of the inagural Issue of Sungrower and Greenhouse magazine.
Utilizing state of the art Greenhouse technology we are able to grow sustainably by harnessing the full light spectrum of the sun as nature intended. With our fully automated environmental control system we are also able to provide protection from the external elements like rain, wind, and unexpected frosts.
Boggy Boon is a southern name for Sasquatch. We chose Sasquatch because it is an icon to the PNW. As Cannabis legalization spreads across the nation, Boggy Boon is leading the path. As we expand, we want to keep our roots, and be known as the PNW icon for cannabis growers, much like our hairy beast of a friend.
We utilize a fully automated light deprivation system and evaporative cooling pads in the summer. Then 1.2 Million BTUs of heat and over 240,000 watts of lighting in the winter to continue operating all year round. This ensures you are always getting the highest quality and freshest product on the market.
WE GIVE BACK
Being family & veteran owned we are always looking for new and exciting ways to to get involved and give back via community, military, or charity promotions
We have a passion for growing high quality cannabis!
Our Farm arose from an abandoned rock quarry on the bank of the Columbia river in the Wenatchee Valley of Central Washington. It is now the home to our state of the art 24,000 square foot greenhouse facility. We approached the farm buildout the same way we approach everything...with a dedication to quality and craftsmanship. It took us 7 months from clearing and grading the land, to getting final inspection, but we built it by hand and we built it with pride. We have gathered up a bunch of hard working farmers, the Squatch Squad, and are now one of the top producers and processors in Washington State. We have been featured in Leafly, Seattle's finest newspaper The Stranger, Marijuana Venture, Sungrower and Greenhouse magazine, and many more.
None of our plants are grown outdoors, only inside our greenhouses using Controlled Environmental Agriculture techniques. Our facilities allow us to utilize the full light spectrum of the sun, as nature intended. We also have the benefit of a fully integrated environmental control system that is responsible for maintaining the ideal temperature, humidity, and airflow. The sun doesn't shine as bright on the snowy winter days, so we have equipped our facility to utilize 240,000 watts of supplemental lighting, and 1.2 Million BTUs of heating for extra control and consistency.
Curating high quality cannabis means dedication to controlling for pest and disease exposure. We use organic methods for pest/disease prevention, specifically by creating a biodiverse environment that utilizes beneficial insects and predatory mites as sustainable methods of pest prevention.
For vigorous healthy growth, plants need strong roots. It all starts with the soil, and we use some of the best soil available. It is a balanced medium with excellent characteristics such as a perfect ph balance, great drainage, and antimicrobial properties. Then we use high quality nutrients to help promote optimal growth. We finish off with a pure water flush to leach out any excess nutrients. Once harvested and dried we store all of our flower in food-grade containers with humidity control packs to ensure our flower continues to cure. the curing process is critical as it is responsible for enhancing our desired aroma, flavors, and terpenes. Our flower remains curing until we get an order from your local retailer, as everything is packaged to order. Packaging this way is more labor intensive, but it ensures our flower is always fresh on the shelf, just like you want it!
